Hi there! If you've found the Equipped for the Kingdom forum then you're probably looking for answers about what it means to live as a Christian in your daily life. My name is Liz, I grew up in a "Christian" household. We went to church on Sundays and participated in Wednesday night Bible Studies. I began my personal relationship with Jesus at a very young age, but by the time I became an adult the church was rapidly changing and it was difficult to find my place in church without my family. My youth group leaders showed us scary statistics of how many young adults went off to college and never went back to church without their families around to drag them there. So I knew I couldn't be alone.
Now the world has changed even more drastically. Our cultural and political climate has divided nearly everything we're a part of including the church. It's rumored we may be living in the end times, one thing is for sure it is the end of an era, the end of many things as we know them. How then as Christians can we go about being Equipped for the Kingdom? That is the purpose of this forum, to bring together a group of young adult Christians who desire to honor God with their lives in our ever increasingly fractured world, to express our confusion over changes in the church, to combat bad doctrine, pray for one another, and give resources and encouragement for our daily walk with Christ.
If you're not a Christian yet, but you still have questions... you're welcome here too! We want you to get to know the wonderful merciful Savior who has so radically transformed our lives.
